In the period of 1450-1750 maritime technologies made it possible to trade. These technologies include; guns, gunpowder, and new ship technologies. The guns and gunpowder gave European explorers the ability to intimadate and kill any enemy in their path. The new ships had deep drafts and round hulls which made it easier to travel around the Atlantic Ocean.

Silk road trade began to decline in the 15th century because of the Mongol empire, China going isolated and new world discovery and inventions. The silk road began to decline around the same time as the Mongol Empire. A cause is that China became isolated from the rest of the world by becoming anti-foreign. Also as the new world came into place people found it simpler and cheaper to trade overseas which also gave them new customers.

During the 15TH century, European nations did something they had never done before, they sailed across the Atlantic ocean. To their suprise, they found what was thought to be India, to later on realize they had found a new world.
These European nations began to establish colonies in these brand new lands which developed into the Americas.
lIn between 1450-1750 the Japanese had isolationism from the rest of the world, and minimal interactions with China, Korea and the Dutch. During this time the Tokugawa created a centralized government to control who comes in and out of Japan. Even certain laws not letting you leave the country or letting foreigners come in. When general Matthew Perry wanted to trade with them they declined

Between 1450 and 1750 the atlantic ocean trade increased dramatically with the help of the African Slave Trade system and the Triangle Trade method. The African Slave Trade system helped increase trade int the atlantic ocean because Ships full of african slaves crossed the atlantic ocean transporting african slaves from Africa to North America and South America. The Triangle Trade System helped increase trade in the atlantic ocean because the trade between the West Indies, Britain, and West Africa became popular and it was called the Triangle trade, this helped trade goods, and other important things, this trade system crossed the atlantic ocean, so it made trade increase.

During 1450-1750, patriarchy remained reinforced in most regions, men had more power. For example, Islamic women were not allowed to leave their home unless very necessary; when they would go out, they would need to be completely covered, with only their face showing. If a body part would be shown, they would be punished. In Japan, women were to remain home while men were being trained to be warriors or warriors. Married women and men did not carry a love relationship, it was more for social status. It was more normal for two men to carry out a romantic reationship.

During the period of 1450-1750 the princes of Muscovy overthrew the Golden Horde and created a unified Russian empire. The Romanov family took power with Mikhail Romanov and were the leaders in the major expansion of Russia. Under the Romanovs Peter the Great and Catherine the Great, the Russian Empire extended from Alaska in the east to Poland in the west, and from the Black Sea in the south to the Barents Sea in the north.
From 1450- 1750, during the colonization of the Americas,a new slave trade system was born , also known as the Atlantic Slave Trade. this trading system took, mostly African males and moved them to the Americas for labor intensive work allowing the mass production of sugar, and tobacco, and cotton also allowing goods to be spread throughout Africa, Americas, and Europe, in the triangular trade system.

from 1450 to 1750 early European commercial empires started to increased European power, gunpowder and other military technology. This change happened beacuse the other countries in the world wanted to become like them so they started to trade more with them and the europeans got richer and demanded more power. Also because Europe was on the out skits of all the other trading places it forsed them to trade by sea so in rusult the land-based empires lost power to the new sea-based powers of europeans.

In the period between 1450 to 1750 there were many changes. For example gunpowder was introduced and other military technology was too. Japan had not seen muskets or guns until the Portuguese took guns in 1543. Another example of this change is that during this time period was when there were the gunpowder empires such as the Ottomans, Safavids, and the Mughals. These empires all got their great success and power by using guns and cannons to expand their empires.
Between 1450-1700, one change that occurred in Japan was a centralized government unifying all of Japan under the Tokugawa shogunate. The Tokugawa put an end to all the civil wars in Japan and it became a time of peace. Another change that occurred was in 1639 when Japan cut off all trade with European merchants because catholic missionaries kept converting Japanese people. This soon led to Japan isolating itself from everyone. A national seclusion policy was made to keep all foreigners out, they were no longer welcome in Japan.
Between 1450-1750, the use of the Indian Ocean and Trans-Saharan trade continued. The rise in Asian, European and African prosperity helped expand the Indian Ocean Trade. During this time period, many countries still used this trading system, such as Portugal, Africa, Arabia, and Asia. The Trans-Saharan trade remained very useful to the Mali and Songhai. Both of these empires gained their wealth because of this trade. When the Moroccans destroyed the Songhai, the Trans-Saharan trade was still around, but weakened.

From the time period, 1450 to 1750 a lot of significant changes happened, one of the most important being European trade with the New World. That caused changes for both Europe and the Americas. The "uncivilized" people from the Americas faced many epidemics, as they were not prepared with immunization to battle diseases, a lot of their people began to die, they got stuck with bad consequences. On the other hand, Europeans were able to participate in the Atlantic Slave Trade. As a result, they were able to harvest and produce crops more efficiently without struggling to pay workers.
During 1450 to 1750 intercultural marriages led to sharper restrictions on women, increasing contacts and more rigid social hierarchies. For example in the Safavid empire women had to wear burkas to protect their beauty from others but not their husbands. Women had more restricted rights because they were thought to be weak and defenseless. Also, marriages between two empires was used to create peace between the empires in hopes for no civil wars.
In between 1450-1750 C.E., America changes because European contact causes an 80-90%indigenous death rate in the Americas.
Historical Evidence:
-In Brazil, the native population fell from 2.5 million to a million because of the Portuguese arrival.
-In Mexico and Central America, 50% or more of the population died because of the arrival of smallpox.

In the time period 1450 to 1750 the decline of the silk road began, china began to leave their isolationist phase and open up to the world, where as the constant slave trade continued and urge to discover the world continued with christopher columbus and many other explores
Long distance contacts increased due to the African Slave Trade system and the European explorations. After the explorations, new people came to the Americas and this established new communities. The African Slave Trade grew because of voyagers going back and forth from Africa to the Americas. The Atlantic Ocean trade exchange goods such as gold, salt and spices. This created a new source for people to interact with each other.
BETWEEN 1450- 1750 TWO CHANGES WERE MADE DURING THE rUSSIAN eMPIRES' RULE IN THE SENSE THAT PETER THE GREAT WESTERNIZED RUSSIA AND ESTABLISHED AN NEW ARMY. HE WESTERNIZED BY BEGINING TO ADOPT EUOPEAN WEAPONS TO FIGHT HIS BATTLES. HE WAS ABLE TO FORM,A NEVER BEFORE EXISTING, ARMY BY ENHANCING PAY AND DRAFTING PEASANTS.

Between 1450-1750, political structure changed in places such as the Tokugawa Empire and Constantinople. Tokugawa Japan was decentralized in the beginning of 1450 and became centralized because of daimyos (warlords)who were controlled by the government. Another example would be Constantinople. Before Constantinople was taken over by the Ottomans, it was decentralized, but afterwards became centralized as it became part of the Ottomans.
In the period of 1450-1750 contact between people from different social classes, groups, and cultural backgrounds started coming together, not like they were before. People from these different groups of people were now starting to intermarry with one another allowing the people to come together and construct an even biggrer family and thus more security among the family. This change also led to more restrictions on women since they were now being told what to do and to obey their family and do what is best for them. They no longer had much say as they did before and they were being told who to marry. They had no say in anything. Finally, it also led to more rigid social hierarchies since now people were marrying people from different social classes. They were now coming together, and social order wanted to reamin stable, so they would have to start switching around the socail class.
