Welcome Class of 2013!

You are gonna love this class!- Here's your first assignment.

You made it here so that shows you are serious about World History. Explore the site, then click on "OLDER POST". Read the messages that this year's AP World History students left for you. Lastly come back to this page and leave a message in response to what you read. (This will prove that you have been here.)

Got it?... Well, you have until the beginning of school to figure it out.

Have a great summer and I look forward to working with you.

Peace,
Mr. Parker

Mr. Parkers class is long and can drag on some times however over all this class is worth all the hard work and effort if you put it in. there is nothing to be afraid of in this class as long as you do what the teacher tells you. and do this from the beginning don't realize this two terms into the class and then do it you will find its much easier that way. the text reading of this class is long but some what entertaining except for lack of pictures but ya you get my point don't slack off and you will be fine

Hello Mr. Parker. After looking through your blog, I think your class will definitely grab my attention. At first I was kind of nervous about joining your class because it is a college class. However, after reading the advice from your previous students, I feel more relieved. Just by focusing in class and doing all the assignments, I'm sure I could do it! Well, I'm looking forward to being in your class and also the different ways you have to get your lectures in our heads, such as the songs!

From the comments of your previous students, it is obvious that AP World History is going to be difficult. I, however, believe that I am ready for this challenge. Overall, I am really looking foward to starting this class, especially after seeing the many resources this blog gives your students.

Hello Mr. Parker, how has your day been? Good? I thought so. I was impressed by the effort your previous students put into giving us as much insight as possible into your class. For me, History has always been a subject I usually excel at and I trust myself enough to put all of my effort into. Hopefully I will gain valuable knowledge from this learning experience and have fun at the same time. p.s. very exciting comments left by other classmates of mine. VERY exciting.

Hey Mr. Parker.
At first I thought that the class would be difficult. Then the all the advice from the previous class made it seem hard. I got nervous on taking the class but after looking over the comments more, more students were praising that it was a really good class and is worth it. I would rather have a challenging class than an easy class that wastes my time, so I look forward to your class!(:

Haha, Anyways, laters! On to watching some more movies and writing some more papers.

I read the comments and the hardest part of the class for me will probably just be that I procrastinate with pretty much everything, but i guess I will have to learn to grow past that.

I'm speaking on behalf of the 2012 students. This class is the hardest class you will ever take in your entire life. I guarantee it. You will feel pain like you've never felt before. Good luck. You'll need it.

Ohai.

Well tomorrow's the first day of my first AP World History Class, LOL. Well I think, because I don't really understand what crazy things they did with the schedule.

From ready the older World History students comments it seems the most important thing you've got to do is apply yourself and read thte book, do the work and whatever will help you. My dad won't lemme put my name on the internet 8D. Hope to have a great time tomorrow though. 8D

turns out i forgot to look at the last textr on the HW page that says "leave a comment" anyway, I'm confident that this minor setback with the summer HW will not be a problem for i shall make up for it with the determination to have an A in your class and get a 5 on that test!
