The Victorian age is similar to modern America because, the Victorian's in their day were the most powerful and America at this time are the most powerful.
Nineteenth Century Victorian England resembles Contemporary American Society because people are discriminated by their race and religion.
A comparison is that Queen Victorian England and current America is that there is a mass amount of people in poverty due to the Industrial Revolution and having a lot of people in America in poverty.
The Victorian England society compared to our American society by both having an unfair deal of education. In our American society, education is a big deal but it is also a big amount of money, money in which most families do not have. Mainly for college. In Victorian England, education is also dealt unfairly to where the richer go to school even though everyone should have an education.
Nineteenth century Victorian England is similar to contemporary American society because there is a change in moral standard, how each gender should behave, the fight for workers' and women's rights, and pride in military power and political influence around the world. Also, they are both predominantly Protestant nations, economic powerhouses, and a destination for immigrants.

During this time Britain saw a period of self-confidence in their country, and in a similar sense, we see that Americans today think the same way.

Nineteenth Century Victorian England resembles to Contemporary American Society because what Americans think is right from wrong comes from the Victorian Age. Several Americans discriminate people from another race like the Victorians discriminated dark skin people because they were not pure. In addition, they felt very strongly about sexuality, they only a proved of a female and male in a relationship like many Americans today.

Such as electricity, railroads, the light bulb, the telegraph and so on.
